they only need a few restocks of old albums more + their latest album keeps selling so they will close the gap soon

then their next cb this year will sell 1M+ for sure while twice sells around 500k per release so seventeen will distance themselves more

Twice should be around 11m by July-end.

Twice now sells at least 500k per korea comeback and 250k per japan comeback.

They still have 15 months left in the contract.

Assuming they don't renew, that's about 5 comebacks based on their usual schedule, plus a farewell best-of album.

But this assumes Twice continues to use the crap songs written by JYP.

If they release hits like those written by BEP, then they'll sell much more.

Twice will have ~14m sales by the end of their 7th year.

If Twice renews, then #2 of all time is guaranteed.

probably only included korean albums. I know they had a Japanese compilation album so those numbers probably aren’t included in the numbers you saw

Unlikely but not impossible. If they renew and JYPE stops milking J-ONCEs, they can end up as the second best selling kpop artist. But even if they don't, they are the best selling female artist and are only widening the gap so they are winning either way.

It's a low chance, since TWICE is a gg and their sales are not as strong as SVT or NCT.

At least TWICE always maintain very stable sales, they might end up going More & More stronger in total album sales.

At this point, they have already established a legacy, like you said, but still many people are discrediting them.
