This is especially impressive because when you compare NCT separate units to their peers, they actually have much smaller discographies and fewer physical albums. For example "NCT" made the top 10 with literally 3 albums, 2 of which are 2 parts of the same album series. Dream made the top 5 with 4 EPs, 1 album & repack combo (which are still selling) and 1 single album which is peanuts when you compare it to how much content other top5ers released.

I know people always say that combining all units together is unfair to other groups, but separating them is also unfair to the units imo because of how NCT's concept affects the frequency of their releases.

Should also note, from Gaon mid year album sales chart, BTS, BP, NCT, and Dream are the only groups to make the Top 50 with albums not released in 2021.

127 can easily add 2million this year with their album + repack and depending on the NCT U composition, NCT can gain another million (but who knows if they will do an album or just a single)

I laughed but...

Dream sold way more than i expected, especially since their discography is pretty small, one full+repack and 4 minis, NCT (full) also only have 3 releases
