What do you think TWICE’s 1st English Single will be like?

This single will probably be dictated entirely by Republic Records so it will be interesting to see how big of a change they would bring with this release if they do.

To tell you the truth I don't know what to expect but I'm quite exited for it and I hope they don't follow some trends

I agree with you. I hope they dont ponder too much on choosing a concept or sound. Like just put all that effort on making it a big bop as much as possible

they should've saved Cry For Me and released it officially as single but I wouldn't be surprised if we got something kinda like that

Like mature but not super mature, still bubbly and catchy.

True...and Twice have become even more versatile with their concepts. Heck, I wouldn't mind or be surprised if they end up going Candy Pop cute or complete horror next comeback

I think something like Breakthrough would be good for western

I want something a bit dark, but still with a good tempo. Maybe a cross between Cry For Me and Fanfare.

What you are expecting is what I would consider a TWICE song that will be such a big success in Korea, catchy dance - bright concept - fun song. I would kill to have the old TWICE concept again even for once (I miss them) although they are doing amazing.

For me, I would expect them to make songs similar to the songs that might be their best-doing songs internationally.

For instance, Yes Or Yes?, Fancy, I Can't Stop Me, Cry For Me. I would expect those kinds of songs.

Likey is their first song that hits internationally, maybe they might also go with that concept?

I would expect a dark song more, with carefully written lyrics, cool choreography, and sexy/mature outfits.

I think that they will go with an elegant vibe like for Feel Special or Alcohol Free but something a bit more catchy.

i'm worried about their vocals..They can't sing live, and if they went to graham norton's show, they"ll be severely grilled by brit memers and the rest of kpop stans
