Edit : Fandom does make an impact on initial charting though. You can see BST, SD, DNA, etc vs later releases. It is important to have a fandom. People can say whatever they want but gaining a fandom is probably the most important thing for any artist.

DNA really doesn't get enough credit for how big of a hit it is. It has the same Melon ULs as D4, Red Flavor, and Love Scenario.
