If the law allows it, fine. But I don't think they fit the criteria for 501(c)(3).
QuoteThe exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3) are charitable, religious, educational, scientific, literary, testing for public safety, fostering national or international amateur sports competition, and preventing cruelty to children or animals. The term charitable is used in its generally accepted legal sense and includes relief of the poor, the distressed, or the underprivileged; advancement of religion; advancement of education or science; erecting or maintaining public buildings, monuments, or works; lessening the burdens of government; lessening neighborhood tensions; eliminating prejudice and discrimination; defending human and civil rights secured by law; and combating community deterioration and juvenile delinquency.

A non profit organization in easy terms is an entity that does not earn profits for the workers, which clearly BHF is. They qualify for that setting and that’s why PayPal wants them to register as that2B0B8542-6FD9-492E-8F10-84C146328EB3.jpeg

Since you brought it up, you should at least keep up to date with this situation
The reactions to this statement from fans was not very positive
Anyway, BHF ended up not filing for non profit status
When the account is accessible again, they will issue refunds, but that won't be for a while
I don't know how kpop fans are getting themselves into this discussion already, I guess they are keeping tabs?

Old news. It's not happening. ARMY won't stand for that.
But you don't care about facts so whatever.
Well of course the only part they highlight is the controversial one to try to make us look bad, not the response by other fans or the actual resolution. Because that would reflect well on us - can't have that.

ForgottenSoul is becoming ARMY stalker now lol

It's just kinda hilarious when they try to deny it, only to end up exposing themselves by making threads like these.

Suddenly reminded of the time John Oliver made a religion just to skip taxes

LOL, people here responding without even reading the text. Paypal asked them to file as a non-profit. This wasn't their idea.
