Sadly if you were to make money off of it or benefit from it in any way, it would be cultural appropriation. Language is one of the most valuable elements of a culture. If you study Korean and then make money off it, you would be committing CA.
This is why CA allegations are absolutely mindnumbingly stupid.

nobody starts out "enlightened". it takes time for people to get educated. just 5 years ago saying "transwomen are women" would get a lot of older people's head to blow up because they didn't not know about genders. now they/she/hers pronouns are common even in businesses.

i'm not making stuff up. it's just social observation that a lot of marginalized, niche or undermined communities are trying to re-affirm their rights and representation. That's why I mentioned furries, as one of those groups along with kpop fans. Kpop fans were just considered lowly otakus, but now there's a billion dollar industry around them. Likewise furries were looked down, yet they have been making national news recently
