He's from VIXX, a group that debuted in 2012. They weren't that big, but he managed to make himself known as a rapper and to have a pretty successful solo career. Pretty sure he has his own agency.

But they were really popular when they were active. Maybe not that much internationally but they were a household name

Vixx has a pretty solide popularity in Kpop most of the members of the group are well known outside the group N has a pretty good acting career and Leo has a successful solo career as well he won a lot of music shows and even years end shows
