I wasn't the one who used ranking as sort of proof why 1 group should be considered Summer Queens, but the other shouldn't. I just pointed out that if you want to use ranking, then the differences aren't that large. And I consider all songs that are older than 2 years on equal grounds.

I think I already mentioned in my former post that other groups had successful songs that were released in Summer too.

I find the whole 'Summer Queen' thing futile, especially since it's often used to praise one group at the cost of shading or trivializing another group's achievements, and at the exclusion of a lot of other groups' hit songs of past Summers.

Basically, all groups and (Summer/bright themed) hit songs that were released in Summer should imo be acknowledged for their success.

Sistar by far. Summer goddesses, summer queens, whatever you wanna call them. No group except maybe brave girls will come close to dethroning them

The only one in 3rd gen that does well consistently in the summer is Blackpink. Their biggest hits are all released in the summer, (AIIYL, D4, HYLT, FY)

For me, definitely SISTAR then after they disbanded Red Velvet took over for at least another 3 comebacks

Digitally speaking, BP, not only most consistently, but also Aiiyl and FY both has an amazing longevity and also both recharts on gaon 200 every summer since their releases, likely this year will be even higher than past years since they've been hitting the top250 and top 200 since january. Plus Whistle, HYLT and dx4 may not be summer concepts but where released around summer and peaked at 1 during the summer season, despite being other summer concept songs that fitted more in that time.
