The song is just amazing!
First it starts out with T.O.P. singing, and can I just say, his voice is beautiful. Uri saranghaji marayo is forever ingrained in my head, and rightfully so. His rough, deep vocals really set the scene for the song, which is on the sad side. Then after a couple of lines the instrumental gets a little faster, and he continues on for a bit. Next comes Taeyang, who cuts into T.O.P.s rougher voice with his higher, clear, soulful one. Daesang follows, with a powerful start and a powerful finish, leading into T.O.P.s rap. Afterwards, we get GD singing (his voice is almost rough, but in a really nice way), followed by Seungri. Taeyang leads into GD's rap, which is energetic, and then starkly contrasted by Taeyangs following verse, which is much slower, and only really backed by a guitar. The song ends with GD and TOP, ad libbed by Taeyang.
Overall the song is sad, but also almost thoughtful. It's longing and quite honestly a masterpiece.
Also the music video is just . All of the members playing around with that wonderful bluish filter that adds a sort of serenity. GD throwing food, TOP biking, Daesung playing around, Taeyang soaked in rain, Seungri playing with the trampoline. The scenes are all playful, as if they are enjoying themselves freely.
Anyways, figured we need some happy bb posts today.
