      • Kim Yubin (#87) debuted in Bling Bling in late 2020.
    • TinTlip (pronounced like "Teen Trip") is a special concert unit for AKB48 primarily composed of girls who participated on Produce 48. They are:
      • Shitao Miu (#18)
      • Chiba Erii (#35)
      • Sato Minami (#39)
      • Asai Nanami (#42)
      • Nagano Serika (#76)
    • Although Lee Kaeun and Han Chowon placed 5th and 6th originally, this does NOT mean they were directly swapped for Ahn Yujin and Yabuki Nako (who placed 5th and 6th in the finale). During trial hearings, it was announced that the trainees who benefited from vote manipulation would not be revealed.
    • Following the disbandment of IZ*ONE, there have been no announced plans to debut any of the members, or debut them into existing groups (though there is much fan demand).

    RUMORS (Gossip Gossip Gossip)

    • Despite a persistent rumor that Pledis no longer accepts female trainees, there are several other than Yoonjin (#26) within the company.
      • Due to HYBE's acquisition of Pledis, there is speculation Yoonjin has either: a) transferred to debut in an upcoming group OR b) is being sent to I-LAND 2. We shall see.
    • Kang Damin (#61) was rumored to have passed auditions for Starship and Kiwi in January 2019, but nothing official has surfaced. She later went on CAP-TEEN as part of duo ALL U (late 2020).
    • Son Eunchae (#32) and Kim Choyeon (#50) are training under Ateam as part of a new girl group (pre-debut name: I.S.E) with a debut aimed for the 1st half of 2021.
      • It was rumored that Park Seoyoung (#55) was training with them for a time, but since left.
    • It has been said that some Produce-affilliated groups are going to appear on Mnet's new survival show, Girls Planet 999. These include:
      • pre-debut team HOWZ
      • Cherry Bullet (including ex-member Kokoro)
      • Chiba Erii (#35)
    • Given the rather unceremonious disbandment of IZ*ONE, there is speculation that there were talks to give an extension to the group. However, some companies pulled out at the last minute.
      • TINFOIL HAT ZONE This is personal speculation, but based on how quickly CRAVITY debuted following the disbandment of X1, methinks Starship might've been the one to pull the plug.
      • Additionally, Miyawaki Sakura's (#2) potential of signing with HYBE/BigHit may also have something to do with it.

    tbh, PD48 was rigged because the Japanese Contestants were ranking higher than the Korean ones so MNet banned votes from Japan

    Didn't remember Minju was 2 times top12. I knew either Hyewon or Minju were ranked very high i just didn't remember so i assumed both.


    I'm pretty sure Lee Gaeun's votes were falling pretty fast in the last few episodes no? I remember not being shocked one of the usual top 10 falling outside the top12 cz the ranks were falling.

    Didn't remember hitomi being usually that high, probably got confused with other japanese trainees. Japanese contestants were the most talked about all the time.

    Forgot chaeyeon got outside top 12 one time, she was very high and was one of the most talked about contestant all show.

    Sakura got like 2 1st place vote but she was easily and i mean very easily the most popular contestant.
