It's a bit sad I thought that after she had corona people will get even more interested and will give her a listen...
but song isn't doing well at all even in terms of youtube views.

I don't think it's bcoz of Corona. The song isn't just it

i think the song just isn't up to what people expected. her slower songs is also generally less popular than her up-beat songs
Her release schedule was all over the place. None of them took off. Why they did this will remain a mystery?
to be fair her company set her up with all those pre-releases. People were anticipating her album but the hype just died down
tbh the way their company kept promoting all those releases as "pre-releases" probably turned people off, her release schedule was all over the place. I don't think it's entirely true though, Bad Boy has been on the chart for a very long time. Maybe they just prefer that lmao
common mate
why the hate
what has somi done to make you irate?
why like support both its never too late
If you actually look on Melon and Gaon over the last 3-4 weeks the charts have technically been the emptiest in the history of either platform, meaning never has their been an easier/emptier time to climb the charts.
The fact that Chungha couldn't even make an impact on Genie(a chart that is the most welcoming to new songs) tells me it's the song not Chungha. After all on D1 it climbed up to number 2 or 3 against Epik High but fell rapidly so I think it's more about the song than her.
The approach to the music on the track isn't in the pocket and needs tweaks.
That whole pre-release thing was so stupid
X isn't that interesting, unfortunately, and Chungha's release schedule with a bunch of OK but not very memorable songs was a hype killer. Releasing an underwhelming single is worse than releasing nothing.
This is an example of why Teddy's strategy of releasing a smaller number of better quality and better promoted songs is usually the better option.
She still saved kpop 2020 though
Isn't that song her 8584929th pre-release?
