Not really, companies can defend themselves by saying that JQ cheated on them since they only hired him for his services thinking they were dealing with a professional. And this defense will be fully admissible for everyone I think.
The only company that is really at risk of suffering from it is SM, who seem to have worked with him for a very long time.

If you mean the one that just happened, she did write them. He didn't tell the company that he was married to her though which is the issue since it was his job to pick the songs.
Also I remember this topic coming up before... that pretty much every company is stealing lyrics and music from students. They either make them sign blanket contracts where everything they right can be used by the company or pay them nothing. Someone compared it to the way animation studios in Japan are run.

I guess the students should get a royalty or smth there isn't much one can do besides that or pulling the songs to right the wrong. Tbh though considering, I think that the students won't ever get the credit unless the media drags that lyricist to hell and back enough for the companies that worked with him to take a step back. Its their revenue after all.
