    Would that be a j-pop trend? From what I remember, a lot of japanese songs have some insane instrumentals for songs compared to similar songs from elsewhere.

    Well for BiSH and WACK groups they do but yeah a lot of j-pop/j-rock has some crazy instrumentals and background music
