It’s just my objective opinion. Ever since the Aespa teaser pics came out, I thought all of them look like the work they’ve done is just a bit too obvious. It’s kpop. Plastic surgery is a thing. Sometimes the results aren’t the most natural looking. So what?

They still had pre debut fandom. People knew who they were before debut. They never had any rumours about them pre debut to debut either. You can’t compare.

It grew dramatically for BTS but besides them it didn’t grow that much for other groups
And actually before the hate was just as extreme or even more. For ex:
- SNSD black ocean
- entire country of China turned against Tzuyu
- RV debut MV got a lot of downvotes from fx fans
Aespa debuted by breaking records in several countries

You are comparing hardships of groups through the years to a new debuted rookie group. It's not the same. Just because they broke records does not mean they do not get hate.
