There are melodies that sounds korean, same goes for other countries, there's something specific and authentic about the melodies from different countries and region. Bapsae and life goes on sound korean too.
Eurovision is about to start (finally!) and my country is sending a song that sounds like our pop. Many likes it and appreciate the sound but many don't and find it trashy. I love ukrainian and russian songs because we're used hearing that style of singing but many don't because they aren't.
