He's done with his military service in August.
Something definitive will need to happen before they can come back at OT5 (if they do). Anyone who is genuinely interested can see all the ways that there is room for doubt in his case, but it's been so overblown - particularly (and disgustingly) by rival fandoms - that YG can't just do their minimal communication thing with this. They will need to explain why he is innocent (if he is found innocent) and go through it point by point. Especially on things like
- people still believing he was the "singer Lee" in the groupchat when it was a singer from CN Blue
- stans still believing he was one of the rapists when that was never in question
- how (backed up by other celebs) it was just a regular nightclub and not a place that barbecued babies
- how the investigative reporter edited some of the things she leaked, added people who weren't there, and protected people who were (including some big names apparently)
- how the police seemed to be on a weirdly highly focused mission against YG and YG acts and even actually said they intended to keep going until they had discovered crimes by all members of Bigbang, and how police statements by witnesses were falsified, which has come out in court
- how the man who was framed as the hero of the whole thing had been thrown out for sexually assaulting a woman in the club
- and the sex worker they involved said she wasn't there for Seungri, didn't do anything with him (knetz and inetz seem to struggle with the idea of a sex worker not having sex with any and all men that she happens to find herself in a space with) and that her only contact with him was when he got her a taxi
Most people would admit there is room for doubt there. I feel like he'll be found innocent, that if something was going on behind the scenes it's burnt itself out now (and I kind of have a theory why that might be the case) but who knows. If he's found guilty, obviously OT5 fails to be a thing and the other guys need to move on.

He’ll comeback he’s a man with money no one will ever convict him and fans will be dumb enough that they believe being declared innocent means he’s actually innocent.
