There are just some that seem to do them a lot more than others for whatever reason. For BTS, the sheer volume of musical content they have released over the career lifetime shouldn't make ANYONE doubt their true priority.     I think many people see endorsements as the final goal. The results of their faves popularity, hard work and music becomes... endorsements.

    For ARMY it has always been different, we are always using the opportunity to spread their music. It's basically just a part of their journey, not the final goal.

    This is why we will not dismiss any endorsement for how "luxurious" or "cheap" it is, we just care if more people (new target) can learn about BTS and give a chance to their music.

    That's because we trust in BTS artistry and their ability to relate with any demographic!

    These 7 guys worked their asses off for years, I don't know any artist, west, east, anywhere, that works as hard as they do, they deserve to get some easy money after everything they did. Be gone, demons!

    Everybody celebrates their faves getting a “prestigious” CF deal (ARMYs included) because it does acknowledge the popularity of a group when a luxurious brands picks them.

    But ARMYs were ecstatic when the boys got the McDonald deal, and we were celebrating how many more people will get to hear/learn about BTS. BECAUSE of the brands REACH (while haters were calling it a “cheap” deal). It’s all about the music - anout trying to reach as many people as possible and making them aware of BTSs music.

    Cause once ppl listen to their music, we don't need to justify anything the music speaks for itself and those ppl start listening to bts more.

    It’s telling that whenever BTS signs another mega global CF, no matter if it’s from the biggest fast food chain like McD or the #1 fashion house like LV, aside from celebrating the boys’ recognition and impact, ARMY’s major excitement also comes from the possibility of these CFs becoming a vehicle for BTS to spread their music to every demographic.


    It’s weird that Kpop fans can be so classist when they themselves can’t afford to buy luxury clothing either as we’re not ashamed of McDonalds or Hyundai or Samsung at all, not when Hyundai’s public BTS billboard attracted a packed crowd in central London of all places, Samsung became another catalyst to Dynamite’s global reach and popularity, and McDonalds is looking to play the same role in spreading BTS’ upcoming single to every corner of mainstream consciousness.


    Y’all shit on Samsung, then cry about Dynamite being everywhere lol. Now anticipate MickeyD’s bringing you some 10-piece chicken nuggets and a side of 2021’s global smash hit. If LV uses BTS’ music in their campaign, that would be another win!

  • I think this stems from the fact that for many companies and idols CFs are the end goal. Thats how they make money. Thats what these "IT girls" and "IT boys" are all about.


    For BTS clearly music comes first. The endorsements or CFs, especially lately, serve as not only as an income source, but also, more importantly as a way of giving their music a wider platform. I wouldnt be surprised if the content of the campaigns is just as important as the fee when negotiating with brands on who gets the honor of having BTS endorse them.

    When I see the LV insta page has 43mn followers, it makes me excited that a new demo will be exposed to BTS and thereby learn about them and their music.


    For us it has always been about BTS' music first, heck we were even discussing how McD deal could be linked to their new single.


    Nothing will ever take predominance over BTS' music cause Armys are here for a reason, and fashion is not the reason, it is BTS' music and BTS themselves. What would you even stan BTS for if not the music seeing how passionate musicians they are?
