I think watching anime dubs comes down to convenience. There are a lot of dubs that are very good quality though, but I prefer subtitles usually. I can understand being attached to Japanese audio if that's what you usually watch of course.

I like watching subs bit like I wish some subs were like them john wick-ian subs. Part of the scene.
a good dub that I think is aight is the Planetes dub. I don't know who did it but at least it matches the general mood and intensity.
