First, this is clearly leaked by hybe since it's a private studio and that's a cctv recording.

One more step to really destroy Nj’s brand, identity, and fanbase would be adding new member(s). Honestly, if that happens, Hybe could easily play the sympathy card using the new member(s) . The fans of those girl(s) would start supporting the group, while the original Nj fans might not. That’s how the fandom ends up divided even more than now.

And once new member(s) are added, the whole dynamic and the relationship between the original members could shift too. It would make any reunion of the five of them even harder to happen. Even though I already know how evil Hybe can be and how they seem to be trying to destroy Nj, I still hope that if anything happens, it’s just the three of them with no new additions.

This is all very strange, but I guess we can say it's not shocking. Ador never took action when NewJeans members were attacked. They didn't lift a finger when trainee videos leaked, medical reports leaked, Hanni's visa status and being the focal point of a xenophobic hate train, etc. Based on their history they will remain silent.

I think 3 years but what's sad is that we don't know how things are going to be in 3 years specially if they stop promoting together for so long, in the past even if they weren't promoting they were still together in their fight with HYBE, now Danielle is out, Minji is uncertain so if Danielle finds and way to promote solo or join another girl group or Minji for that matter then even if in 3 years the rest of the members are free they might not be able to all promote together, we also don't know if they will still want to continue after seeing how bad the industry can be, i feel the best chance for NewJeans to be together would be if Minji remained, they all promoted as 4, Danielle had only solo activities and didn't join another group that would lock her 7 years and that they remain in communication for the whole 3 years

The model contract has a provision to pause the timer on the contractual term due to action on the part of the idol. HYBE will certainly try to use this to argue that the contractual period was paused during the legal dispute. So it'll be four+ years by their count, I think.

I went to sleep last night not long after reading these reports and I dreamt that their cb was a feature with Zara Larsson and it had a comic book/action movie concept but like a bit more cutesy

NewJeans aren't planning anything. Hanni, Haerin and Hyein are being forced against their will to perform for a company that has destroyed their brand and threatened them with legal action after winning a case they had no business winning in the first place, thanks to that idiot judge who barely understood the assignment.
