Bruno Mars about to fight BTS - why Blackpink always goes BACO?

Bruno Mar's new album is also very mid as well and there is a general lack of hype/discussions around it after it dropped. I get the feeling people are just moving on from it very quickly since the general consensus is disappointment.

Its going to be an easy win for BTS. Some of Blackpink's songs might outperform Bruno's songs in the next few days as well even if they dont promote it

The single he dropped before the album wasn't really received well which carried to the album release. He'll still get the streams but I don't know if any track will standout.

Even though Bruno isn’t exactly like the former owner of Edam Entertainment, and even though he was surpassed by a K-pop group, he’s still on another level in the U.S. compared to both groups, just like no kpop group’s big numbers in Korea could ever surpass the influence of the former owner of Edam Entertainment. kpop groups’ big numbers in the U.S. are kinda unimportant to me.

This is too early to tell. It's the weekend. It will rise more next week. They had more ULs and debuted the highest this year on Melon's 24h. That's how typical BP songs performs on the korean chart. I am expecting them to reach at least between #1-3 to keep their streak alive

Whenever BlackPink gets to fight BTS, BlackPink Always Chickens Out (BACO).

This new album by BlackPink is , I have to say, weak, being clobbered by IVE in Korea.

And it is going against Bruno Mars in the world, and the latter is winning.

They say this album is not being promoted well, making many Blinks in the world angry.

In 2021, when BTS ruled the world, everyone was waiting for a BTS vs BlackPink fight, which would have gotten the world's attention.

But , for whatever reason, Mr, Yang chickened out.

He did not do a BlackPink comeback.

It was like the 2003 MLB playoffs, when Steve Bartman messed the crucial game and made the good-for-nothing Florida marlins, now called Miami Marlins, to fight New York Yankees.

Marlins actually won the series, one of the least memorable of all time. Thankfully it is not getting closer to the World Series since then, although its equally good-for-nothing neighbor Tampa Bay Rays tried in 2020.

With no BlackPink comeback, the brunt of fighting BTS fell into the hands of the Owner of Edam Entertainment, who is even more less relevant to the international fans than Marlins is to the MLB fans.

As a result, at least in Korea, the Owner of Edam Entertainment, now the Former Owner of Edam Entertainment, is more relevant than BlackPink.

How Bruno Mars will fight BTS is another story, but it was very regrettable to see BlackPink chickens out again at the most crucial moment. Bruno Mars will defeat BP and then go to fight BTS.

What do you mean by Blackpink's album being clobbered by IVE??

Problem is one can't make solo artists want to work as a group if they don't want to.. whatever anyone says I see no group dynamics , only 4 solo artists completing contractual obligations (to keep the fanbase) and that also by giving bare minimum effort.

bp aren't renewing WK, they'll be out that bulding the second their 10 year contract is over
