But not being unique isn't a problem, snsd and Twice made of the "generic" gg song their brand but at least their chorus and choregraphy were addictive and hooked you up

Enjoyed it on first listen, but I'm somewhat sad we're never going to get another song like the chase. I think they departed from that synth pop r&b sound they had going for them. It makes sense to get dance inspired songs because those type of songs are easier to listen to and will most likely chart better.

Exactly. This is how I feel like I can't complain because the music is so good. However, I really felt they tapped into something special with The Chase. It does feel like a complete 180 with what they went with afterwards. However, I can't really complain because each title track has been good and they're getting great results.
