  • Baemon is leadng on album sales , touring, spotify, youtube ( without ads one).

At this rate they will do stadium tour on SEA....and there is still gap between them and other 5th generation girlgroup on album sales.

  • KiiiKiii needs another comeback because a bit skeptical with dancing alone not performing well and surprisingly low first week sales. I agree that they're most likely going to be a top group based on I Do Me and 404. Curious to see how their comeback performs with this momentum.

As for the topic, I don't think we have a big 3 yet. I think we have to see how Pledis and Source new GG perform because I think nobody in the supposed big 3 solidified their spot. I think closest is Illit, but we might see Babymonster and Meovv disrupt the big 3 at the moment.

  • i'm a fan of Kiikii's, but I think it's way too early to say that. 404 is a hit, but i think their fanbase is relatively small still and the girls aren't well known in general, but I hope that changes. The group is 100% korean, so that puts them at a disadvantage when compared to their peers, and i'm not sure I trust Starship, especially after hearing Sui had said that they were told this comeback would be their last if they didn't have success.

This would have never been their last cb come on now this is just the last test to see if they might hit big or not

yea i think something was lost in translation with Sui's comments, and she was probably half joking, but the girls were aware that they had a lot of pressure with this CB. 'I do me' was pretty successful, but their subsequent CB's went under the radar a bit. I just think the market is so saturated with GG at the moment it's so hard for one group to stand out.

  • I'm confused where BAEMON is "leading" on international charts? And what "more" Top 10 entries than H2H and ILLIT combined they have on Melon apart from literally just Sheesh??

Anyways, it would be ILLIT + BAEMON + H2H

It's not that they lead on international charts - of these groups, only Illit can even chart - but that Baemon gets very strong streaming numbers on international platforms. Also, they tend to bubble just under the Spotify Global entry point when they drop. They're in different league from their 5th gen peers.

& before anyone starts that whole thing: Their touring numbers back them up as well. As do their sales. In all categories, they exceed the three groups listed by a comfortable margin where comparisons allow (Baemon is really the only group to have truly attacked touring, but I doubt the other groups are going to be touring at a similar intensity in the same sized venues any time soon).
