Will this MHJ victory lead to a reform of Illit? I think so

    MHJ pulled a huge victory on the strong jaws of defeat.


    it proved that at least on Illit, whatever MHJ had said was true.


    Whatever happening to Daniel Marsh is not my primary concern - that is another story I am not really too interested on.


    I think Illit has received a huge blow, which will need a big reform at least. MHJ's triumph means Illit is done in Korea.


    I do not see good things on Yunah and Minju since they are not popular in Japan.

    Wonhee will be retained since the group was formed around her, and she is from the region which has been pro-Japanese traditionally, but I think Illit will be transformed into mostly an act which promotes in Japan only, adding one or two Japanese members and Moka being made the leader.

    Hybe is no fool. Someone probably predicted that MHJ would win, and they are separating the Japanese members from the Koreans who are now liabilities instead of being assets.


    The Korean members had gone to an event in paris. The Japanese members did not attend

    The Korean members will be retained during this round of concert, but after that, as it transforms itself to a Japan-only act, I think the reform will occur around then.

    Tbh, the group was botched to begin with, as the visuals of the members aren't coherent. Two are striking. Two are cute. One is somewhere the middle, depending on how she's styled... They can't find a concept to peg this square hole lol

    Illit will probably abandon Korea. The new Pledis act will debut later this year and that will be the new Hybe group Bango will push, Illit treated as a bad dream.


    Yunah and Minju will probably be cut after this round, Moka made the leader, Wonhee allowed to be a hangar on but a Japanese or two, more palatable to the Japanese audience, will probably be added.

    In the end illit doesn't need bethief stealing concepts for them, they need adults capable in their jobs.

    Reshuffling ILLIT wouldn't be a bad idea, really, despite my not thinking they would do it.


    They could keep the likes of Wonhee and Moka in it, whilst Yunah and Iroha went off to be in SouMus's NGG, as they would be perfect for a mature concept, instead of being held back like they are three years old at play time with these concepts lol

    Iroha is young enough to try again in a new act, but that is not the case for Yunah.

    Yes, Illit cannot continue as we know it, that's what happens when you don't pay the Senior Singer enough filial duty. They are definitely not cute anymore.

    The girls will be fine besides I think they’ve moved away from NJz shadow! (Whether that’s due to Illit needing their own identity or because hybe ran out of source to take from NJz is another story!)


    My worry is this will do permanent damage to their career. Almost like a stain that won’t wash out. To be known as that group that plagiarised etc obviously it’s not the girls fault and none of them should get the blame, it should all fall to the company :!:

    If by now they are still copying MHJ work it's quite clear that this is bc they have no idea in what to do with illit.

    So they will cut at least one of them and make it a 4 member group to avoid the plagiarism issue since Hybe will appeal it and it will take a while to reach the final conclusion
