Using ai to take pictures with your fav idol?

This is gross

It's weird and we need laws surrounding AI. It's not just celebrities that are getting affected by it. There's some people taking people's image without their consent from IG, and using it for AI generated images.

People who invented AI said they want to help the world. Wonder how many times people have said this about something that later ruined the world.

I'll give humanity 10 years or so and we're gonna have a real life adaptation of the Terminator.

Honestly to me it's more creepy/weird for the person doing it than it is actually harmful to the idols. Not that should it be ignored but there are far worse things being done with idols and AI that needs to be handled and enforced first.

But I see people doing stuff like this outside of kpop, like as if social media wasn't bad enough at giving a false impression of someones life. now we are just basically photoshopping ourselves into actual life events? lol

There should be laws against AI period

It's so weird, but no one is saying anything about it since they are as equally parasocial as they are.

Misuse of AI should be taken more seriously but the lack of action is intentional by the industry at this point

I think most people would consider that just as problematic.

Unfortunately we're living at the dawn of the AI era, and it will only become more ubiquitous going forward, so there's only so much anyone will be able to do about the various ways in which one can abuse it.

but it is the intent behind the actions that is seem to be "problematic" not merely with the use of AI per se but rather the purpose for which it is used for - I understand with AI it just makes it a lot easier since it requires less skill
