If have to pick just one, it's 10000% Wheein. Like, it's not even a competition for me. The minute she opens her mouth I'm healed.

I love this video because it shows how many people are praising her diverse talent. My favorite description is what Jungkey said: Her voice can transcend time and space.

On the indie side, I have to mention Kassy, because not a lot of people are talking about her. She started out as a rapper, and now one of the most popular OST singers.

In SKZ I like Bang Chan's the most, he has such a warm, clear and expressive tone.

IU is the og vocal tone queen for me

(in comparaison, i would say Taeyeon's voice has more 'soul' and a masterful emotional delivery plus control rather than an outstanding tone in comparaison to IU, kinda same as Baek Yerin)

so IU, but also Joy, Hyein, Hanni and Winter.

The best vocal tone in Kpop is clearly Jo Yuri. Literally nobody else sounds like her and she sounds transcendental even with robotic autotune applied. I have never heard anyone with her combination of airy softness and husky raspiness. She's the only currently trending pop singer that can even come close to Morissette Amon when it comes to vocal color.

She ended Taylor with Taylor's own song tbh.

Honorable mentions include Leeseo from Ive who has a very addictive nasally tone, Karina who easily outshines the other so called "vocalists" in her group, Yuqi and Miyeon from Gidle, and a few others i'm sure i'm forgetting.

mina clears. she's the sole reason why twice's bridge are as heavenly as it is in every single song of theirs. her elegant tone really elevates their songs.

i would also say kim lip, she's really versatile. my favorite vocalist in loona and its sad to see modhaus milking artms to death because they only have 1 debut and 1 comeback since their formation. even loossemble had many, what the hell
