    I appreciate how he never changed himself and kept his style all over the years. Admirable! His love for his art, work, music, essence! Congrats king! And hope to see BIGBANG 2026 thriving!

    To be honest, I wouldn't give him or any other nominated idols a Daesang, but we all know awards are about numbers, but hey, at least his album was good.


    And no, I don't mind Jennie winning Daesang either, because I liked her album as well. Not every song, but still. 2025 was bland, with barely any competition. It was basically just GD and Jennie, and maybe Rose.


    Quality-wise? That's up for debate, but not for today. 😂


    I'd love it if these Awards gave some recognition to people who didn't have 500K-1M sales and Chart topping songs if their albums were great, because 2025 was HARD CARRIED by soloists, and not only GD and Jennie.

    I'm also surprised, GD and BB are an anomaly in k-pop bc sure, we have others soloists idols that have some recognition, but not on GD level after sooooo many years of debut. HSH being such a hit just proves also how BB are loved and appreciated in SK.

    Truly the k-pop kings who started so many things and are still as great as ever.

    Quality wise I think Jennie is the better album, but GD' one isn't bad either, but yeah, 2025 was the soloists year with even Woodz getting out of nuguland!! With his hit song and finishing with Hwasa swiping the charts.

    I'm just proud 2 BP members had such impactful year in SK and GD!!

    I wonder what's gonna happen with Hwasa, btw, because there isn't a single Award that can nominate her song, because it was released in mid-October, and most awards have a "November-November" window. 😭 I think MAMA is the only one that starts the count from early October.


    Tbf, 2026 has Bigbang, BTS, BP, EXO, probably TWICE too, and so many others, so the Awards next year is gonna a slaughter.🤣
