We love globally popular group BTS.

  • Looking at that list, it appears the kids are not ok

  • Why do they even like Drake?

I thought Kendrick ended his career

He was still one of the most streamed artist, but I'm unsure I trust this list. I don't believe Taylor Swift is #8 and I'm unsure if Eminem or even Lil Wayne would make the top 10.

I think if this list was current then Taylor would be at least in the top 3. Then both Kendrick and the Weeknd would make the list. I guess I could see Weeknd appealing more to millennials than gen z. I want to think Sabrina Carpenter would make the list but she most likely would need another successful release. Also, no clue how Sza wouldn't be in the top 10.

Drake makes sense tbh, he is huge in streaming UNFORTUNATELY.

Yeah, TS is top3 in my mind, no way she isn't when she is the biggest singer in the world.

Eminem is still pretty "viral", I've seen so many times his old songs going viral on sns and used in so many videos, memes, situations.

  • Knowing the votes done online, I can already imagine that some fans of these artists create multiple accounts just for it. Yup, it's a meaningless poll, but it's pretty normal in the music industry and among fandom culture. Simply because fans love to brag about everything.

Even though his image got shattered, he's still one of the few superstars left in music. So, they can't really go away no matter the antics. It's similar with Kanye where no matter what he does he'll still be considered a superstar. So, it makes sense why they're on the list, and person can still be popular and disliked.

That's true about Eminem where he probably reaches many generations because he's still one of the most streamed artist.

Taylor part doesn't make any sense when she had one of the most successful tours. I feel her music crosses over to many generations, so confused about that part. I would also think Beyonce would be similar but I can see where it's mainly millennials that listen to her and not the younger generations.

As an almost Gen Z Millenial I still listen to Eminem until this day. And when you are in your late 20s, you definetly begin the nostalgia ride, going back to the eary 2000s from time to time. I regularly listen to my childhood favourites these days and my friends do this too. In 2024 we listened to Destiny's Child, 50 Cent, etc. at our new year party. And Eminam had a nostalgia album just a year or two ago, reminiscing about slim shady. It is really not that weird that he made the list. Houdini rocked for real.
