[theqoo] HYBE'S Q3 OPERATING RESULTS SHOW AN OPERATING LOSS OF 42.2 BILLION KRW AND A NET LOSS OF 50.3 BILLION KRW

  • Did a little digging :

HYBE America — It oversees major subsidiaries such as SB Projects, Quality Control Media, and Big Machine Label Group. I think it was acquired in 2021 ?

HYBE is also expanding through new ventures like HYBE × Allen’s Universe and its U.S.-based services arm, HYBE | HLS, which handles global distribution, marketing, and promotion. T

While KATSEYE operates under a joint venture between HYBE Corporation (through HYBE America) and Geffen Records. Geffen provides U.S. marketing, promotion, and industry infrastructure, while HYBE brings its training, production, and global IP system. It’s somewhat similar to the former CJ × HYBE partnership for BELIFT LAB, where CJ ENM held a majority stake, though KATSEYE’s exact ownership split has not been publicly confirmed.

  • at this point they are probably debuting new groups to hide whatever the f*ck they do with the money behind the doors, and put the blame on 'expansion' and 'debuts'.

even next year, they are gonna debut 3 new ggs...

again, they don't really care to burn all that money and reduce the profits the sub labels make since they only seem to care about Big Hit and since BTS is gonna tour next year and gonna save their *ss anyway.

but what if bts members don't renew? what are they gonna do past 27/28?

i feel like they have a very short term vision. and just doing some very shady things with the money the company makes...

  • Unfortunately, the company thrives on new IPs, which they neglect after a debut. Quicker than new Jaden Jeong TripleS subunits debuting.

Those boys will renew, as they have more of a freaky relationship with Ozempic King than Mother and her girls. If she said jump, they'd question. If he said jump, they'd say how high.

i still feel like both JK and V would rather exit tho. specially for their solo activities.

V is likely. JK is I think too profitable for them to lose. However, they do seem to neglect him, according to Army, with his solo career and concerts...

Would be funny if Mother managed to poach V 😂

    V joining oaak ^^^^ !

that's why hybe is probably ruining his image right now...

    oh he's so leaving :pepe-joy:

  • [theqoo] HYBE MAJOR LABEL'S PERFORMANCE FOR Q3

    BigHit (BTS, TXT, KORUS)

    Revenue: 322 billion

    Net profit: 23 billion

    Pledis (SEVENTEEN, TWS)

    Revenue: 227 billion

    Net profit: 46.6 billion

    Source Music (LE SSERAFIM)

    Revenue: 54.8 billion

    Net profit: 6.1 billion

    ADOR (NewJeans)

    Revenue: 24.4 billion

    Net profit: 4.5 billion

    Belift Lab (ENHYPEN, ILLIT)

    Revenue: 113.7 billion

    Net profit: 28.6 billion

    KOZ (Zico, BOYNEXTDOOR)

    Revenue: 48.6 billion

    Net profit: 10.7 billion

    original post: here

    1. Wow NewJeans isn't even promoting and they've earned almost as much as Source;

    2. NewJeans is insane

    3. Pledis-yah, you're earning so f*cking much, please use that money to sue people

    4. NewJeans didn't promote at all, yet they had 24.4 million won of revenue. They're earning so freaking well. Imagine how much they'd earn with promotion

    5. KOZ's net profit is so high compared to their revenue. Meanwhile, NewJeans probably had some profit from ads they shot in the past, but they didn't promote at all. Their net profit is also interesting..

    6. The way they're in the minus when you add everything is the funniest part ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

    7. SEVENTEEN seriously are earning so freaking well

    8. What happened with BigHit? All the other labels are earning way more than them... Did they spend over 100 billion over their rookie? Didn't BTS also have a lot of solo concerts and they were able to fill even more seats?

    9. KOZ's net profit-revenue is freaking high

so why no one talking about this?

It seems that because it doesn't align with what the fans here are desperately trying to deny, the sheer scale of Seventeen's success, despite all hype the company's disregard, is a painful truth for some.^^^^^^^^^^
