i don't even care about how this will affect aespa's popularity but i do care about how this will impact her mental health. They're witch hunting her at this point and treating her like a criminal when all she did is completely harmless.

I hope so but last i read the angry reactions at article about this is already 20k+ (idk how much now) and even the clarifying article is still flooded with negative comments.

I think its better for SM to stay silent in this case. You can't win with issuing a statement. Just let them be. A Korean just win a gold medal in speed skating so hopefully they will settle down. It will blow over once the Olympic is done.
Anyway, another unrelated to the NingNing topic. Do you or anybody here know that SM stop producing or shipping much album after the first month? I heard some redvelvet fans complained about it but I am not sure it's true.
Look at aespa album shipment is kinda bizarre. It's like they stop producing album. Even Stayc shipped 15k in January and Savage did not even chart. Look at aespa hanteo sale, they are doing fine and normal for the daily just like many GG. Infact their Hanteo to Gaon ratio is the highest among the big 3 GG now.

afaik, SM will produce an album as long as their fans reached XYZ amount that already sets by Sm in order to make them printing more. I think that XYZ amount is bigger that most agencies hence the album shipments are low.
