Disappointed but not surprised. I'll still support but I'm sad about CBX. It's been awkward for everyone to deal with hopeful fans so I'm glad this info is out.

As someone with Lay as my bias, this honestly feels unreal… I could cry. It’s been forever and shit this is nostalgic...
But yeah, as expected, CBX won’t be part of it. It sucks because we really so close to having OT9 again. Like whyyy… Still, I’ll support this cb because the remaining members, they matter too.

I don’t think they have to pay bank to have him. The EXO brand has always helped Lay with visibility outside China so he does utilize it.
The EXO brand is free publicity for all the EXO members lol.

D.O is my favorite Exo main vocal and I know Suho is a good singer but you're right, CBX specially Baekhyun brings a diff charm to Exo. Iirc he was their stan attractor. I know they will do fine cuz Exo is filled to the brim with good vocalists but losing 2 of their most prominent voices is not a good thing and honestly speaking, it makes me less excited for the comeback but let's see, I am still gonna give the album a listen

to me I'm just treating this like another in a long line of different lineups, I love all 5 Korean members who are participating, and I like Lay a lot too, plus Ksoo is my ult. bias (plus Sehun my wrecker), so I'm still excited. If it had been ot9 I would be a lot more excited, but this is just life as an EXO-L now. I loved and supported Obsession and I feel like this can still be a great album. I'll still support and listen to CBX too.
As Tic put it, it makes no sense for the members to just do nothing as a group for 3+ years if they want to do something (which given Ksoo and Lay's participating they clearly do want to).

Yeah same. It’s not like as if exo has had the same line up comeback over comeback it is what it is.
I’ll keep hope maybe CBX and SM will reach an understanding in some years and we can still have OT9 some day.
But for now I’m still happy that we get group content even if it’s a sub unit of exo. I was tired of solos lol.

Yeah we should see how that’ll work. I didn’t think I could enjoy obsession without Kyunsgoo and yet that’s an amazing album I still love.
So this album will be different but I think I’m more excited to see who exo will be working with like LDN or Dem Jointz or Kenzie or Marz etc because these colabs usually result in bops 💯💯💯

By all means that’s your prerogative.
For me sub units are better than solos so I’ll take what I can get and support the members that are in the album.
