Source screwed up again. Pearlies is incredible.

  • Spaghetti is a fair/decent song. No worse than a 5 or 6, not sure if it's quite a 7. A classic blop/bop song.

To me it is the "rich man's" version of Rich Man and a SUPER DUPER "rich man's" version of Dirty Work.

But the ultimate travesty is how ONCE AGAIN, Source put the wrong song as the title track. Just like Impurities and Smart, Pearlies is a literal SOTY contender. An awesome retro beat that sounds bright yet the lyrics are emo and heartbreaking af. And you could put Jhope in that song too - A smooth, groovy slow-mid tempo rap, like Yoongi's in Magic shop, that fits the emotional themes....

The girls just sound great in here.

  • I see and understand your position. Spaghetti isn’t really the most appealing song. It’s fine, sis, we we’ll get over this one and move past it.

I’m excited for the live stages. LSF performances can make the worst sounds the most captivating thing to watch on stage. At least we’ll have nice states and, fingers crossed, a filled content promo Era ☺️

  • LE SSERAFIM has a number of retro, groovy type songs that don't get enough recognition. They're the Japanese releases. I feel like they could totally resonate well with the Japanese audience if they made a full Japanese album.

That side of that is underrated.

    "Star Signs"

    "the NOISE" (collab with YOASOBI)

    Those two collabs with imase

    "Choices"

"Pearlies" is right up there in that genre except it's in Korean. I love it and I prefer it over "Spaghetti."

They truly shine with that sound. The melancholic, bittersweet, yet groovy and chill sound. There's so much potential there, and I feel they've been subtly dabbling with that genre. A bit of city pop. A bit of retro.

Casual fans don't know LE SSERAFIM for that, but I think they really stand out when they make music like this. I don't know if it's Sakura's background with J-pop or what, but this side fits the group so much.

dsc mentioned she prefers Chaewon singing in Japanese, and I think there's something to that for sure.

And yes, I'm aware "Pearlies" isn't Japanese, but it totally sounds like a Japanese city pop song.

  • One for sure, there are many underrated Lessera's song that are soo good. Not many fans know this. They only know their TTs almost makes me upset actually.

I've said this before, many their B Side songs are top tier.

  • I think Kazuha's been working on her rapping, or at least she's showcasing her rapping more.

This is just so good. Their vocals are so pleasant. :holding-back-tears: FearnotTaglist   Tatiana1820  dsc
