I would say yes.

I don't keep up much with boy groups and only check on a few. However, Cortis is always appearing on my feed. Then there's so many articles about everything they do. Like I shouldn't know so much about members James and Martin when I don't follow the group or search up topics about them. Then there's controversy about their music which always keeps them in the public eye. I would say this is the most pushed boy group I've seen in quite some time because there's always articles and discussions about them.

No. They have a fresh sound (for k-pop) that a lot of people really dig. People were antsy during that period before the songs even got on Spotify, so of course they did good numbers on there.

Yeah, Hybe pushes the heck out of their groups. It's expected. Kind of their thing.

Their music has sounds I've heard before so I don't really pay attention.

People only write about things/people that are popular/will be discussed. CORTIS does fit that
