    I've said before, i knew Ian will be one of 5th gen It girl for sure, at least in Korea, from the first i saw her in their debut MV. And i think knet really love her cheerfull image.


    Im happy for my girl, Jeemin. Izna have crazy schedules nowdays. Almost everyday they have agenda, especially Jeemin who is super busy. There are even one time where she have to shooting for 3 different event in just one day. I remember watching Izna live idol radio few days ago and she had a cold and a cough.


    And Wonhee. For me, there is always 50-50. It is between her or Minju who'll be most popular member in their group.


    One for sure, all three share something in common. They're really have a cutely silly charm in variety shows (also tend to laugh a lot).

    The only one I know is wonhee because she goes mini viral like every day on K twitter


    I've seen tweets of her and I don't even follow her group.


    One time, I wanted to check why the tweet had gone viral and I can honestly say I get it. I get why.


    She is just naturally cute in behaviour. She gives off a loveable charm. The kind that makes you want to protect.

    It's the three people that come out the most when koreans are talking about futur it girl of their gen


    Wonhee and Ian have been mention a lot since their debut and their picture often go viral on korean twitter


    And Jeemin seems to be silently gaining a lot more attention recently


    But it's really interesting how koreans standard of beauty seems to be different every gen and makes it more difficult to predict


    2nd gen : the innocent dear like visual like Yoona and Suzy were very popular


    3rd gen : it was the cold beauty like Irene and Jennie


    4th gen : it was more the chic visual that was popular with Jang-Ka-Su


    And now 5th gen : it seems to be the innocent bubbly visual

    Ian have already prove her power by making 3 challenge go viral in korea and her picture and video going viral very often

    I didn't get it at first too especially during magnetic cuz i thought iroha was standing out more

    But the more i see her, the more i get it


    Koreans have used a lot the expression " born to be idol" to describe wonhee and ian

    And i think it fits them perfectly


    They are very expressive, bubbly, outgoing, pretty, cute,

    And when they are on stage you can see that they are enjoying every second of it

    And they feel very down to earth and funny


    They have absolutely every criteria that what the perfect idol should fit

    And it's hard to imagine them do something else than being on stage


    All of these make them very charismatic and able to attract the attention

    Agreed. you can't take that away from them. Magnetic was being played everywhere and you even had celebrities from all parts of the world playing it. Just checked the numbers, and it's currently sitting at 685m listens on spotify. Unsure how accurate chatgpt is to verify these number, but magnetic would be the 5th most stream song for a 4th and 5th gen girl group. If magnetic is not a hot, then I don't know what is. I guess you can have a fair argument that debuting with a song that strong is dangerous if follow up wasn't as good. However, you still can't take that away from them that they had one of the biggest songs of the 20s

    Bomb was alright, but... I agree. To keep up the moment, they needed a high energy/high octave song to keep up interest, and Bomb would've done it for them with Do the Dance (an amazing follow-up Magnetic, if history were to be rewritten 😉).


    Cherish felt more like a lead-up song before having a big comeback not long after it. Think Armageddon and Dirty Work, which came before Supernova and Rich Man 😊

    IIRC, she did say she wanted to be a magician on a show once, so she naturally had a desire to bring in the crowds towards her with her talent. Now she's doing it another way 😊
