Sadly it’s just the 4 of them because they’re the only ones in NY. I guess either some of them were busy or Victoria secret was too cheap to pay for all 9 travels. I think easily could’ve rotated members for each song if they felt stage was too small

What frustrates me is that if they had just lipsynced (which I'm not advocating for), they could have avoided this, considering it seemed like Missy was the only other person who sounded live...

But hey, I'm sure the k-pop stans will be super nice and understanding and weigh this against their Lolla performance where they delivered for an hour and a half straight right? Right?

Jihyo, Momo, and Nayeon did quite well. Tzuyu struggled a lot. Which is weird she has sounded better before. It could have been nerves or she did sound a bit sick

I think people won’t care too much. The people that hate are going to hate. They would have done so regardless. Though I hope Tzuyu didn’t take things to hard

I think they are also performing and hoping around the globe a lot. It can’t be good for their stamina. Idk, the performance was good but yeah not their best.

Yeah just hope she ain’t too down about it. We know she can perform well. Everyone has off nights especially when sick.

I'm all for live vocals, but lip syncing is honestly a better idea than performing sick. Especially when you have the other performers lip syncing anyway. Hopefully it's a learning experience. It just sucks that it happened to her, because there were already a bunch of idiots on the Twitterverse complaining that Tzuyu was chosen to go and insisting she should be replaced by someone else. Now they're going to feel justified over one performance.

Very lack luster and this song is also very dull. Over all not a memorable performance. Not just tzuyu but everyone was shaky.

Twice aren’t really meant much for live singing and they also work better when the whole group is present that’s their strength.

It was not just shaky. It was terrible vocal performance minus Jihyo.

Like Britney Spears they should’ve lip-synced and give us a good performance instead. Cuz we got neither of them here.

Twice’s strong suit are not vocals and that’s ok. Also there are only 4 of them. Now everyone is dragging them.

I'm more worried about Tzuyu being down about her performance. It's the risk of performing when sick but at least she was able to show up imo. I thought the performance was fine and it's nice to have the mics on and group dancing onstage. Some performers at this event were lipsyncing and I rather hear vocals that are a bit shaky than to watch a performance where the mic isn't on.

They were singing live though? They all sounded ok besides Tzuyu who is sick. My honest question is what did you want Tzuyu to do? She got sick but she can’t pull out suddenly especially when only 4 of them are present. She did the performance to the best of her ability.

The other girls did not sound terrible at all. They were shaky yes, but they were dancing while singing live. Even Kpop idols that are the best vocalist would struggle with that. We all know Twice members aren’t the best vocalist but they did well. Minus Tzuyu who again is sick

TWICE's live singing is fine which is why I can say they weren't singing at their best and you can't.

It was a very bad arrangement, the members didn't seem like they wanted to be there. although I suspect it's something the members wanted to push.

JiHyo was basically whisper singing, almost too afraid to belt, still they held it together but it did show that TWICE is well out of their depth at an Event such as VS.

the issue is that people don't care about live vocals. why would companies change anything when this is working. and it's easier. you don't have to spend years training singers, fans will accept everything. and yet i'm here, being happy when singers finally sing live. i'm that easily pleased lol. re: rwice, jihyo was awesome
