I've listed the ones that have made the most waves in korean chart, feel free to mention other groups you like

zb1 have been excellent in terms of discography, and their vocals (especially zhang hao and taerae) are really impressive so for me they are kinda the leading bg in 5th gen. it's a pity that they are bound to disband soon.

the best 5th gen bg in general is 82major but they are too nugu to even be brought up

also, I find it interesting that 5th gen boy groups are way more successful in korean charts than 4th gen bgs ever were, but their global following and global hype is so minimal compared to 4th gen bgs. it would be an interesting case study it's a shame literally no one cares

I agree, I feel like wish's music and sound have been very holistic and consistent. probably the most consistent out of all nct units? their sound is kinda a bit like early nct dream but a bit more experimental. hard to explain. but I really like it.

BND, I heard their debut and wasn't too overwhelmed but they were promoting Earth Wind & Fire at the same time as Babymonster for Sheesh and that made me a huge fan even just through repetition.

Everything they've put out since has been great as well, and am extremely excited for their EP next week.

that was the first song I really liked from them.

I enjoyed their music from this year as well. they've been growing on me a lot.
