some rando druggie with face tattoos tried to sell me and other ​people a stolen watch for a couple of bucks

in the diner i was eatin' at earlier. one of my favorite spots. they got a deal for less than 2 bucks where you get 2 pcs of chicken, an egg and unlimited rice and soup. as soon as that dude walked in, i knew he was gonna try something. sure enough, when the owner went into the kitchen for a sec, dude made a move and tried to steal one of the speakers in the diner so i had to stand up and grab my fork then i yelled at him. probably spooked him because he dropped the gear and ran. glad i didn't have to fight but would've been hilarious to send him running and crying out of there with a fork sticking out of him
