E.Jae of Huntr/x, who composed and sang most of Golden, arrived to Korea, with hardly anyone noticing.
She showed up in the radio show of Lee Eunji,
but no other schedules are announced.
She was a trainee in SM for 10 years but did not get to debut. The kind of soloist the Koreans wanted was, of course, the style of the Elephant in the Room.
E.Jae gave a song named "Drama" to aespa in 2023, even though there was just a song named "Drama" earlier that year from the Elephant in the Room. So E.Jae was very aware of the presence of the Elephant in the Room in KPop.
She probably expected to receive a hero's welcome, something like what Roseanne Park, MBE, had received but there was nothing like that to her.
Although the Elephant in the Room did not do well digitally in 2025, people in Korea still follow the Elephant in the Room more than E.Jae.
E.Jae probably thought she reached the same state of fame with Roseanne Park, MBE, but despite of her success, she was treated as a nugu in Korea
The Elephant in the Room has never showed up in Lee Eunji's show. The Elephant only shows up in her friends' shows, like the shows of Kim Eana, Yoo Inna and Kang Hanna, curiously all of their names ending with a 'na'.
I don't know what to say about how E.Jae was treated in Korea. At least among some segments of Korean population , E.Jae will never be more popular than the Elephant in the Room.
