Their Korean discography have the same amount of top tier (9.0+) tracks as Japanese one. But by ratio seems like the Japanese is better.
Top Japanese tracks: Girls (Japanese version), Not Alone, Divine, Indestructible, AMLIFY, Stay Girls, Born to be a Lady, Time Machine
Top Korean tracks: Girls (Korean version), FAN, One Last Time, Forever, Tears, Sunflower, Complete, Light Up the Sky

Hard to disagree. In terms of ratio and other things, SNSD's Japanese tracks are better. "Galaxy Supernova," Paparazzi," "Flower Power," and others fill of most of their top 10. I think a Japanese label directed most of these, so it makes to me since I think J-pop it's generally better than K-pop even within the idol genre.

Totally agree! I also have a preference for their Japanese discography, specially the first album.
The Great Escape, You Aholic and Let It Rain are gems.
I love the eletronic style they had in their Japanese discography.
I find that in Jessica's era their Japanese discography was stronger than the Korean one.
It's interesting that while their first Japanese album was a banger, with a cohesive mature eletronic sound theme, their following Korean album, The Boys, was a mess: a mix of cute with more mature songs.
Their Korean discography became better post 30/09, in my opinion.

Divine is 11 today (i’m ancient) and it made me crave their japanese discography and that reminded me that their japanese music is like a trillion times better.
