  • The director did indeed steal from Yseult imo. There's way too many similarities with the MV, and the artist has the right to complain. My issue with her complaint was directing frustrations towards Soyeon who had nothing to do with it. Other than that, I have no complaints with her calling out the director for plagiarizing because it's clear they didn't contact her, and thought they could take from a French independent artist

Lastly, it was embarrassing seeing fans attack Yseult's appearance and other nasty things that were thrown her way. So, I can see why she was angered and why this situation escalated.

  • Nowhere in her statement yseult directed her anger towards soyeon

She said she think everybody is responsible of the situation

Unsure if you missed it, but she tagged Soyeon on her IG story and retweeted some tweets calling out Soyeon. Other than that I have no complaints and I honestly don't blame her because it's nasty to steal and not credit artist. Like I said the director most likely thought they could get away with it because Yseult is an independent french artist. It's an unfortunate situation and I'm fully on Yseult side here because there's a history with kpop stealing and not crediting inspirations or theft in some cases.

Again, I'm embarrassed seeing nevies escalating situation by body shaming her and sending racist messages to her.

    yea its definitely stolen

her eyes definitely lit up when she thought of the potential traffic though haha

  • Nowhere in her statement yseult directed her anger towards soyeon

She said she think everybody is responsible of the situation

If I'm not wrong her very first statement which is already deleted addressed Soyeon directly who got nothing to do with the video conposition

And Yseult fans were the ones who first attacked Soyeon and capitalised on the fact that she is more well known in the kpop scene and terrorised her

She deserve her justice for being plagiarised but she absolutely did not do her research and targeted Soyeon straight up

  • Yseult announce suing

I love french people only them aren't going to back down in front of kpop label trying to pay them to forget plagiarism

The fact that she said "Everybody is responsible" means she directed her anger towards Soyeon.

And not everybody is responsible for this, only the producers and the director. Soyeon has nothing to do with this, and Neverland are rightfully angry. Except the ones whom are attacking Yseult of course.

I think she's saying everybody is responsible

Cuz now that the situation is public

Nobody involve in it madz a statement

Apologize to her beside the director who hide behind the inspiration idea

And are all just playing silent

I'm all for this because it's clear the director was arrogant enough to think they could get away with stealing. They most likely thought it was just a French independent artist and nobody would notice. The arrogance is crazy when she has 7m monthly spotify listeners and performed at the Olympics in France. I hope others can learn from this that you need to contact creatives before you execute plan. There's been instances in kpop where they ignored a creative denying use and went through with it anyways.

I will say it's incredibly selfish of the director to do this because people who weren't involved in the process are now facing heat. However, Nevies resorting to racism and body shaming is making it harder for people to have compassion imo.

  • Yeah, the director is a coward idiot, but Yseult is ranting on Twitter about Soyeon too now, so she obviously loves the attention more than she hates the copying.

Soyeon doesn't have to say anything, btw if that's what you mean. It's not her song and not her MV. The production team should speak up, apologize and pay for Yseult if they don't want to be sued.
