Some say Taylor Swift's album is not up to expectation.

However, even though that might be true, she will outsell Stray Kids' album sales figure, about 3.0 mil, since she sold 3.0 mil in USA alone, not counting sales in other countries.

It is regrettable that JYP was not aggressive about SKZ when it was rising. It should have dethroned Seventeen, which has now entered a mature status like BTS, BlackPink or the former Senior Singer of KPop, and is unlikely to cause a big stir around the world.

This year was SKZ' year and Taylor Swift steals the thunder. (I won't get stated upon how Taylor Swift closed the so-called Honmun by removing Huntr/x from #1 in Hot 100).

Well, Seventeen did have the best selling album title of the world in 2023 so I thought it was SKZ's time but that is not to be.

Seventeen seems to be higher tiered than SK. They're not on Swift's tier, but enough for them to plausibly outsell her given K-pop fans' drive to mass buy.

SVT has a higher concentration of fans in Japan and China, while SKZ's fanbase is more widespread. I believe they are the first act to have a stadium concert in Spain and Italy, for example.

SKZ has been the 2nd best-selling album artist in the US only behind Taylor for 2 consecutive years so far though, and Karma remain by far the best-selling kpop album this year both in the US and overall.

BTS at its height would have done so.

Taylor's Forklore, 2020 , was outsold by BTS' Map of the Soul:7.

Taylor Swift's Midnight sold 4 million 2022. (There were more sales in subsequent years because of the explosion of her popularity in 2023, because of BTS' stupid decision to enlist!)

SVT's album sold 5 mil in 2023.

BTS in 2021 was at its height, so if Bang did not get greedy and released a special album with a grand total of three songs in 2022 but with a full album in that year, BTS would have overshadowed Taylor Swift.
