Jump being the biggest girl group song of the year in Korea is crazy impressive

  • It is looking like the song will easily have the highest peak and best longevity for any girl group songs released in 2025.

Them being a 9 year old group makes it more impressive. They are really up there as one of the most successful girlgroups digitally in Korea

Highest ULs for any Girl group song in 2025

Highest weekly Circle Digital points for any Girl group song in 2025

  • Rebel heart's performance is really similar, I personally think Jump is going to have better longevity too specially after the album release, but for now I'd put them on the same level.

While I agree it's impressive, the competition this year is quite weak. Late 2024 songs are bigger than most 2025 songs and still there's no 2025 gg song among the biggest hits of this year unlike 2022-2024 when they completely dominated everything.

Actually, I think their next title track has a high chance to become bigger than Jump in korea, since Jump itself being succesful could make the public more willing to check it.

I've put Jump above Rebel heart because it has been beaten by pure numbers every week since release (except the first week as Jump only had 2 days of tracking).

As for the biggest hit of the year, I tend to agree it has been a weaker year for girl groups in general but if Jump continues with this longevity for a few more months then I think it absolutely should be considered as one of the biggest hit of the year overall.

Its longevity is basically on par with Whiplash now (~1M difference) but who knows what is going to happen in another few months so Im not going to say that it is going to end up like Whiplash yet.

  • With the failure of Rich Man or Dirty Work to topple the Golden/Allday/BP juggernaut, i think this finally shows that Fourth Gen is coming to a close. I said the exact same thing about Third Gen after Next Level went superviral, IU went on hiatus, and BTS went to do their military service.

Now it's four years later and the cycle is repeating itself. Fourth Gen went on a monstrous run with at least 12 national hits in a 2-3 year span bookended by Next Level and Whiplash, with Tomboy, Love Dive, Afterlike, I AM, Perfect Night, Hybe Boy, Attention, Ditto, Supershy, and Supernova.

But nothing lasts forever and twilight has finally come for our treasured faves.

  • i called it, jump is whiplash's little sister!

best banger released by a gg this year too :twerkingpepe::twerkingpepe::pepe-dj:!

it's definitly gonna last longer than RH and it's the perfect appetizer for bp's ep drop :danceb: .

also i disagree with the competition, kpdh is a NASTY competitor. BTW they would be sleeping on the charts whithout them :pepe-tea: .

Release timing of Jump is laughably bad tbh

If it was released just 1/2 weeks earlier or almost any other time of the year it wouldve hit #1 but they decided to release it when Golden was going viral.

I still think the song will most likely peak at #2 on Circle sooner or later because it is closing the gap on Soda Pop but the timing is mad

that's also why i called it whiplash's little sister  .

  • I feel that for cultural impact in Korea Like Jennie was much bigger than Jump. I know it’s not in the running because it’s a solo song, but I think it’s an interesting comparison to make. Even if Jump has the numbers over Like Jennie it didn’t go viral in the same way with all the cover stages and dance vids etc.
