Is it just me or do you guys also find it weird when fans dig into the childhood life of idols?

I don’t like it when they hype up the fact that some idol was born into a rich family. The elitism and classism are just so blatant.
Out of all the things they could praise their favorites for, they choose something as superficial as that.

You generally don’t have to “look up” anything. Social media is public and things like this go viral in a matter of minutes. Ofc not talking about things like stalker fans leaking some content and stuff.
Yes children these days have it harder than it ever was because they put all their fuck up’s online for the world to see. Sad reality of the social media world we live in.
Parents and adults have to be more cognizant of what they allow their children to post online because otherwise they’re fucked.
This is true for celebs but it’s actually also true for IRL kids. Kids have their scholarships and admissions revoked if the admins find anything weird on their social media and stuff

I find it weird, honestly. Who hasn’t done something in their childhood—whether it was rebelling, messing around, or just trying to fit in? It feels like nowadays every little thing gets blown up into “being a bully.” People have the right to change, grow, and become better, but instead some seem more focused on dragging others down.

They're in the spotlight as celebrities, so of course there will be fans wanting to know every nook and cranny about their lives.
I'm desensitized to it so, no, I don't find it weird because this is nothing new.
If I read articles about something, that's all I will know.
Disclaimer ~ I'm not one of those fans who researches celebs' lives in case there are any misunderstandings.
