KG and JYPE and VCHA Updates

  • r/kpop - Kiera Grace (former VCHA KG) updates us that the judge unexpectedly ordered settlement negotiations instead of allowing her to file her prepared response to JYP America’s claims. She also clarified that she didn’t leave VCHA for a solo career, and denies false allegations against her mother.

Following a long time with no updates from the group, fans noticed that all VCHA social media profiles — from their Instagram and YouTube to their X and TikTok — have been “blacked out.” The content shared on the profile in the past has also been completely wiped.

These sudden updates coming with no prior warning have convinced fans that VCHA could very likely be facing disbandment.

Others think the “social media blackout” could be hinting at a rebrand instead.

VCHA faced major problems following their debut after former member KG departed from the group on December 2024, citing horrifying accusations of abuse and mistreatment. Only months later, member Kaylee also left the group on July 2025.

Since KG’s departure the girl group has been on hiatus, while the company itself has been embroiled in a legal feud with KG and her family. You can read more about it below.

  • Sounds like JYPE is ready to wash their hands of the whole situation.

They are trying to sweep this under the rug as neatly and swiftly as possible.

Wouldn't be surprised if they make the rest of the girls sign a NDA agreement during the disbandment process as well.

  • I'm surprised, her case seemed well put together but we will see what happens.

I think that's the thing with this case and NJZ situation

every side obviously only releases information pertaining to their side

they certainly aren't going to release public information that is damning to their case

which is why we have (purportedly) impartial judges to make decisions based on the information presented to determine what eventually forms evidence and how much weight to give to each
