Which cover of Golden do you prefer?

Kwon Jinah's by far. It was the most musical singing, not to mention the only one to successfully execute the mixed voice belt on the A5.

Technically Kwon Jonah was the most accurate and best.

I prefer Ablume girl’s cover

GE was also the stand that posed more dynamically and was more personable than the other Jojo stands. GE always looked sassy and protective of Giorno, while Star Platinum, Crazy Diamond, and Stone Free felt more stoic standing next to their users.

The only one who actually sang the song closer to the original version was Solar. She did it on a higher key.

I loved all of these, especially Jinah's, but it's hard to compare when the rest is either too short or a different version.

Sio's version is close to the original as well, but hers is in a lower key.

Solar did it the hard way.

Also, the director/writer also love it, btw. Let's hope if they will make a 2nd movie, MAMAMOO can do the OST.

PS: the full version for Solar. I loved her lower tones even more honestly.

No, they're not. Did even listen to the og? Know Jinah's version is basically a ballad with a lower key too. Sio's too, but it's similar to the original. Lily's version too, but it's too short, but she was struggling with the high notes a bit, and as I said, Solar did on a higher key than the original, also she used falsetto, and that's why her version is much harder.

Not much editing was done either, you don't have to do much with quality mics in a studio where there's no background noise like in Lily's version. The only editing was probably the volume normalization, and that's all.

I'm not sure what you think the term "key" means, but they are all 100% in the same key. An easy way to tell is that you can play the original, and every single one of these covers at the same time and accounting for timing, the pitches will match.

She's the first who actually do it in the same say, same key same notes, even her voice is similar to the original.

I wouldn't say she ate them all up, that's a stretch. All of them are equally good.

It's not an insult. Tone deafness can be trained, though difficult. I would know. I literally teach ear training classes for undergrads. If the proof I posted wasn't enough, then tone deafness is clear, but it's not an indictment on you as a person. Just an education issue.

Because there's no argument. Something is either the same pitch or it isn't. But if it was too complicated to hear clips in sequence, here is the most simple way I can communicate this to you. Can you at least hear that they are all singing the same pitch on "up" (Though Lily is out of tune)

Yes. I was commenting that for the purposes of my post which was trying to help David understand they are all in the same key. I wasn't criticizing Lily.

I will say, though that it's definitely not Lily's best. She probably was practicing for a while and sounds tired. Pushing too much weight up to the high notes. She would benefit from more head in the mix. She knows how to do it, but even the best singers have their moments where they let their control go.

How can you expect anyone to take you seriously when you can't even tell what live is?

Studio version is heavily edited. Every imperfections get corrected which is why other 3 sounds perfect unlike lily. Madonna at Eurovision planned to pitch correct live performance but it went south, pitch correction didn't work properly. The mess stayed at the Eurovision channel but same performance that got uploaded on her channel got edited and she sounds perfect.

Edited versions aren't live.

She wasn't her best but she was good because it's a hard song to sing. She sang it acapella, if she was in more professional settings i assume she would have done better.

As for others, we don't know how others would do because they didn't give us live. If Lily uploaded edited studio version she'd sound perfect as well.
