What people don't understand about Twice and their longevity compared to other groups and companies

Well if the members are still willing and TWICE comebacks still bring in more money then it costs to prepare the comeback, then regardless of success or critical reception, there's no reason for JYP not to keep going along as they have been for the past decade. The only reason there would be to shelve TWICE would be if significant members left the group or their comebacks started losing money for the company.

Twice is still putting up decent numbers but if NMixx for example was as big as Aespa then Twice would be working part time or not renewing at all. So half of Twice legacy is based on the fact there was no predecessor to relieve them.

What? Both SNSD and Red Velvet were active whole 10 years without a break.

Also, being active doesn't mean you have a real longevity. But I agree about the first part. TWICE is only active because JYP doesn't have anyone else.

TWICE's actual longevity is like 5-7 years at best. I'm talking about Charts, not being active for years.

The way SM fans are obsessed with TWICE has to be studied.

well twice are certainly one of if not the most profitable acts for JYPE and the members post contract renewal seem to have gotten a much better deal and are happy to continue and we fans are more than happy for them to continue
