I... don't see it like that...
For example, if Scooter were to put forward a motion to board, there would've been a higher chance of it being opposed, as he isn't the largest shareholder in the company. However, if BSH put forward a motion, it would've been more likely to have been passed as he is the company's largest shareholder. Therefore, being an adviser (and chief whisperer) is more beneficial to Scooter, as his ideas would more likely be passed if BSH were to put it forward than him as HYBE America CEO... Hence, why I said Scoot has become an earwig, as they burrow... And burrow this one will do...

Idk why people think the man got promoted lmao he was always part of the board of directors.
He just went from having actual power to make decisions as a CEO for HYBE America to rather being in someone's ear trying to convince them to make decisions as an advisor lmao. Scooter can't decide shit on his own he only has 1% or so of the shares.
BSH has the power to make decisions since he has majority of the shares on the Board... And to be frank, Scooter has ALWAYS been in his ear. Ever since they started their corporate friendship or partnership.
For example, Scooter assured him that Ithaca would be a profitable venture. It obviously wasn't what BSH thought it would be. Scooter did not do his part so now they do not need him as CEO anymore.
And that's why in the article it states that he is looking for other ventures outside of hybe.
