I feel terribly for her. She's been working hard to start up her own company. I hope she doesn't feel dissuaded and knows what to look out for in the future to avoid situations like this. Some orbits are worried that she may need more guidance instead of navigating the industry by herself, but I don't know how to feel. I'm just worried about her. So cruel for someone to scam her... :(

  • Yeah, she needs professional help from inside the industry or she'll lose all her money.. even BP who opened their own labels are working with the staff who always worked with them bc they know more and are an amazing guide for them.

Unfortunately some people are trash and will try to scam others at any opportunity and the kpop industry is an easy target for such activities.

  • This is the scary thing about running your own company because there are sharks looking to take advantage of new companies. I feel so bad for her and hopefully she learned a lesson here. I hope she hires a trusted team that can properly help her vet opportunities. This situation could have been a lot worse

I'm not super up to date with Bp but weren't even Lisa scammed while still in YG? By one of her managers? And Bts Jimin lent a lot of money to a gambling comedian thinking he had family troubles. Even the biggest idols get scammed, sadly. JK had his identity stolen while serving in the military. I guess they got smarter because of it but I don't know if anyone is safe from these kind of troubles.

even people within the industry can scam. I will never forget how the assistant YG assigned to Lisa stole nearly $1Million USD from her. I think you always have to be careful in the entertainment industry because it's easy to get taken advantage of.

Lisa one was on her debut year so it can be "excused" as a rookie mistake, after that she started working with professional people, not her manager who was just acknowledge in her idols activities.

But yeah, idols need to understand how easy it is for them to be scammed... Money isn't for free...

  • As much as being stuck in a nugu company sucks, I really think she should try one instead of starting her own company. The only successful idols to start their own companies have a lot of money to hire employees and have industry connections to give them and their company access. Trying to do it on your own without financial resources just doesn't work out.

Does she come from a rich family?
