They got tired of YG slow(lazy) process in making music, that’s why they left.
—> It’s evident on their solo albums where they have 10+ songs. If they stayed in YG, they might have solo comeback but only less than 5 songs.
They know they are gonna successful (individually) without the help of YG

I assume that most of the people that they worked with as trainees and rookies are still there. Also they're also the most senior group and easily the most commercially viable, so HYBE would be stupid to do anything to hurt their image.
The girls want to venture into the west (3 of them) and acting (jisoo), so naturally they would sign on to bigger and more reliable agencies/partnership
HYBE has good connection in the west, so BTS doesnt need to worry about that.
Having said so, i believe the urge to venture into solo activities and have more control over it is the main factor for splitting up with YG for solo activities.
The girls still believed that staying as group with YG is acceptable. Since handling group activities require an experienced agency
