From my understanding there are a lot of Uzbekistan economic migrants currently in Korea, and as a result many aspirational migrants that are currently studying Korean in their country too in preparation , so I presume Uzbekistan is trying to strengthen its ties with SK? :thinkerpepe:

    There are a lot of ethnic Koreans in Uzbekistan as well. They were exiled to Central Asia during Soviet Times.


    And I think the government is trying to flow with Gen Z interests
