How Big Hit welcomes BTS' return - by debuting a new boy group in 3Q 2025

still bango probably thinks he's flexing

The new group will get into the comeback schedule

Well there should have been a chart called "Top 50 excl. IU" before, which was legit since IU and Melon created a conflict of interest
If that didn't happen your chart won't happen either

I know it's a single and moas left akp a long time ago but TXT also has a comeback on may 2

It creates scheduling conflicts, and when everything has to be put into BTS' comeback, the staff is diverted into the debut project
not the same staff and bh/hybe has been doing scheduling conflicts for a while (once is a coincidence but it's starting to be annoying)

I thought I was missing one! 😂

not my nugu group tomorrow x together found in the trenches

They should schedule comebacks so they don't conflict with each other.
They really should, at one point they can't say that they had to put all of it in May especially boy groups / male idols and same for female idols although they got less. That + the release of merch and special dvds/contents right before, another specialty of theirs. I personnally don't buy them but strategically it's not great (you could argue they make money but on the long term it's not as profitable)

Nope

"the staff is diverted into the debut project"
How many staff members do you think BigHit has?
There are names we know of. Some that have prob retired and left. I'm just making assumptions.
You speak as if BTS cannot have their own staff.
And do you really think "scheduling conflict" would affect BTS?
BTS is a juggernaut. It doesn't matter if the debut group debuts a week from them or not. People WILL see BTS, people WILL talk about BTS. Their music WILL do well. In fact, it's bad business to put out any music the same time BTS is coming back.
If any group needs to move around their comeback, it would obviously be the debut group.
They would have to choose to debut the group right before BTS comeback.
Same thing happened to TXT. They debuted in the same month but right before BTS came out with Persona. Bighit had to let people have at least a little time for TXT to marinate because after that people were just going to talk about BTS.

It's actually smart. The new group is not going to overshadow BTS bfr. They're not even going to overshadow the 4 gen groups but what they'll have is promotion. Just being promoted next to BTS is going to give them eyeballs and obviously the BTS guys will do their dance challenges etc giving them so much exposure.

It's a first world problem. Look at YG, lol
Err... YG doesn't have Brady Bunch numbers

The key person is Bang.
Bang has always tried to convince everyone that he can create another BTS out of scratch, and everyone at Big Hit is paid through Bang, none through BTS members directly.
Other than the few music people who write music for BTS , all the PR department, and other support will be put into the new Big Hit act to try to promote it as much as possible, and won't return until the first round of their promotion is over, presumably around October.
Also it shows that Big Hit has not done any preparation for BTS' return. A big insult.
